7. Analytics and Visitor Identification
We use the following services to understand how this site is used:
- The optional company card uses the organisation domain to retrieve public brand information from Context.dev and public search results from Context.dev, Tavily or Exa. Qwen through Vercel AI Gateway prepares a brief and answers questions; TypeSafe Jev helps exclude shared networks and visitor Wi-Fi venues. Public company context, the published page and your question are sent to the model providers. Please leave out personal or confidential information. Public company brand information and verified research are refreshed after ninety days. The card may also show a UK role count and up to four current role-holders’ names, job titles, start months and public LinkedIn links, supplied by Blitz. Names appear only when the employer check succeeds; uncertain matches show the count alone. We store these public profile details with the company research for the refresh period. Use the profile-removal email on the card to request removal; a removal also prevents that profile reappearing on refresh. We send no names, domains or person identifiers in company-card analytics. The card can be hidden, and you can choose a company yourself. IP-only recognition retains the comparison holdout, with no card research requested for that group. A company you remember, or the domain from an existing verified signed-in work email, can show the relevant card on future visits. Remembering a company is optional and stores only its domain and the time of your choice on this browser. The choice is used for up to ninety days and an expired record is removed on the next visit; untick the choice or dismiss the matching card to remove it. Email-based context comes from the existing authenticated session: the email address and account identifier are not sent to the public company lookup, browser storage or company-card analytics. A domain match does not establish your employment, role or authority. Company-card events contain page and interaction labels, never company names or domains.
- Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and session recordings on public pages only after you choose Accept. Recording and analytics storage rely on your consent; advertising storage stays denied. Choose Reject in Cookie settings to withdraw consent and stop recording. Private account and workspace pages are excluded.
- Vercel Analytics counts page views, referrers, device type, browser and approximate country without setting cookies.
Snitcher (snitcher.com): on every visit, Snitcher looks up your IP address to identify the organisation it belongs to (for example company name, website, industry, size and location) and records the pages viewed, time on site, how you arrived, and clicks on booking or contact buttons. It does not tell us who you are personally. If you accept cookies it also stores an identifier in your browser so return visits are linked. Snitcher also sends the organisation details it finds (company name, website, industry and size, never anything about you personally) to Google Analytics as an event, so we can see which organisations visit alongside our other site statistics.
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) measures visits: pages viewed, time on site and how you arrived. We use it only for our own statistics about this site, with Google’s data sharing and advertising features switched off, so it runs by default under the statistical-purposes exemption in UK cookie law. To opt out, choose Reject in the cookie banner or in "Cookie settings" in the footer; Google Analytics then sends nothing and sets no cookie.
We use this to understand which organisations are interested in our services, and we may contact those organisations through normal business channels. Snitcher acts as our processor.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests (understanding and developing business interest in our services) for IP-based organisation identification and for Google Analytics statistics; your consent for Snitcher’s cookies.
Your choices: choose Accept or Reject in the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. To object to organisation identification or ask us to delete data, contact us at hello@membership.quest.
